The pain I was experiencing was intense and after you diagnosed me with a herniated disc, the same disc on which I had surgery eleven years ago, I knew it was going to be a rough road! In the summer of 2007, Dr. Steven Helper diagnosed me with a herniated lumbar 3-4 disc. I was in a great deal of pain. Dr Helper advised that he felt the best course of treatment would be three corticosteroid shots to be administered two weeks apart.
